Hailing from the Hudson Valley New York area, Raquel Hawkins is a nationally touring country artist. Raquel Hawkins embraces the sound that blends country grit, rock and roll fire and heartfelt emotions with her powerhouse vocals and storytelling spirit. 

Whether delivering a tender ballad or an electrifying anthem, Hawkins moves between vulnerability and strength. This balance between softness and grit has become her trademark, setting her apart as an artist who can both melt hearts and ignite a crowd. 

Her debut single “Run Towards the Highway” pushed sonic boundaries as an independent artist peaking #32 on the charts after winning a reverb nation contest. The release earned Raquel radio visits across the US and set stage for her rising career. Soon after she opened for Multi Platinum artist Andy Grammer and performed at Country Fest featuring headliners Kane Brown, Dierks Bently and Thomas Rhett. 

Since then, Raquel has continued to hone her craft, writing, performing, and completing numerous independent tours with her band. She has played Hoof Beat featuring Lainey Wilson, performed for Billy Currington on the Hazy Little stage, multiple Concert Series throughout the US, The Ohio State Fair, MusikFest, Lando Live, Thursdays Downtown, Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, The Cutting Room, The Geneseo Riviera and more! 

Expanding her reach beyond music, Raquel made her music acting debut on the German TV drama series “Das Traumschiff” (“The Dream Ship”) playing herself with the band after being invited to perform at a birthday celebration. 

Most recently, Raquel was featured on Channel 4’s Today in Nashville, where she performed her original song “Makes Me Stronger”.
